NOPA x MOCT — 3.10 STUDIO kicks off with Yerevan’s Kariné @karravetisyan, whose atmospheric, rhythm-driven selections move between electronic, bass and jazz, setting a warm and slightly otherworldly tone for the room. From there, the Nyege Nyege Showcase @nyegenyegefest takes over, bringing together three wildly distinct approaches to the dancefloor. PÖ @pobeda8 pushes through Afrocentric club sounds, Caribbean rhythms, dancehall, funk and footwork, while Shaun D @djshaund brings the fast, percussive energy of bubbling, fusing sped-up dancehall with house, chopped samples and hard-edged synths. Scotch Rolex closes the showcase with his genre-busting live blending breakcore, gabber, bass and traditional musical influences, heavy, unpredictable and deeply rhythmic. Shhau @shhau.then then brings things back home, closing the Studio stage with dubby rhythms, dense textures and an unhurried, immersive approach to the dancefloor.
