OCTOBER 30 | @theladymachine is opening for @dvs1hush in the Main Room for the first @intercellevents at Drugstore! The Pornceptual resident was born in Rio but traded the famous granite boulders for Berlin’s industrial feel. Founded in 2015 in Amsterdam, Intercell emerged from an illegal rave on the city’s outskirts. What began as a love letter to the harder, rawer side of techno quickly evolved into a solid gateway for a new wave of underground culture in the Netherlands. Driven by curiosity and a passion for forward-thinking music, Intercell became a cornerstone in the rise of the modern industrial and rave-inspired movement. Intercell developed into a breeding ground for fast-rising (inter)national artists, hosting numerous foreign and local debuts as well as global premieres. By combining fresh talent with established names, and pushing high-end collaborations and curated concepts, Intercell expanded the boundaries of the local techno landscape.
