When: Thursday, November 5 at 09:00 PM
Where: Jazzve, Yerevan, Abovyan Street, 2
Organizer: Philosophy Club
For our next Philosophy Club meeting, we’ll discuss one of the oldest questions in philosophy. Do good and evil objectively exist, or is morality something we’ve invented? Is something inherently right or wrong, regardless of what people believe? Or does morality and questions of good and evil only depend on our culture, upbringing, religion, and personal experiences? Can we judge people from the past by today’s moral standards? And are there any moral principles that could be considered universal? We’ll explore different philosophical perspectives, share our own arguments, and challenge each other’s ideas. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own thoughts and examples to the discussion. As always, we’ll gather over coffee in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No background in philosophy is needed, just curiosity and an interest in discussing interesting questions.
