When: Friday, October 30 at 05:30 PM
Where: Jazzve, Yerevan, Abovyan Street, 2
Organizer: Philosophy Club
Let’s play COGITO, an intellectual game where participants challenge each other with questions about philosophy, science, psychology, and other fields of their choosing! How does it work? Participants sit in a circle. The first player chooses a broad field, such as philosophy, science, psychology or really any field of their choosing. The next player narrows it down to a more specific subject. For example, if the field is philosophy, the subject might be free will. A question is then generated on that subject by AI, and everyone takes turns answering it, starting with the first player. In the next round, the starting position moves to the next person, so everyone gets a chance to choose the field and influence the discussion. The interesting part? An AI judge evaluates each answer, awarding an overall score from 0 to 100 based on its intellectual quality, with separate ratings for creativity, depth of reasoning, and accuracy. You don’t need any special knowledge or preparation. It’s not a trivia quiz. The idea is to think independently, explore interesting questions, defend your reasoning, and enjoy a little friendly competition. As always, we’ll gather in a relaxed atmosphere over coffee, with good company and plenty of discussion. Everyone is welcome! But places are limited as usual.
