Cleanup announcement for this weekend 💚 On World Cleanup Day, we held cleanups simultaneously in all 12 districts of Yerevan. And this Sunday, we’re heading back to the Hrazdan Gorge — to one of our most challenging cleanup locations. During our previous two cleanups here, we removed almost 4.5 tons of waste from the slope. And there is still a huge amount left. There will be work for everyone. The slope is covered with both small plastic pieces, glass and other litter, as well as bulky construction waste. Trash has been accumulating here for years and in some places has literally become compacted into the soil, while tree roots have grown through plastic bags. Please come in comfortable closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
